Bookitt Features

Admin panel of Bookitt is very easy to operate and use where he can login to admin panel of Bookitt by providing the credentials and manage the whole system.

Admin is provided with the facility to edit the content or edit template with rich text WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) Ckeditor.

The graphical user interface (GUI) of admin panel is very much attractive and user friendly in terms of representation and it is shown with different modules with different numerical statistics.

Admin will be able to manage different registered users of site from user management section.

Admin will be able to manage different categories in admin panel.

Admin will be able to manage posts which are posted by different registered users of the website.

Admin will be able to manage the content of different static pages using CMS.

Admin will be able to manage multiple languages (LTR) in Bookitt.

User will be able to submit a Link post by clicking on ‘Submit a new post’ option.

User will be able to submit a Text post by clicking on ‘Submit a new text post’ option.

User will be able to send message to other user using private messaging system (PMS).

In Bookitt, user can create his/her own Subting, Subting can be added as Public Subting or as private Subting.

All the comments are shown in the comments panel and user can minimize any comment, report to comment and reply to comment

By clicking on submitted, posts which are submitted by user will be displayed. User can also sponsor any particular post by clicking on ‘Sponsor’ option which is there in every post.

By clicking on Liked option, posts which are liked by user will be displayed with details and by clicking on Disliked option, posts which are disliked by user will be displayed.

In Bookitt, user can save any post for future reference, posts which are saved by user will be displayed in saved posts section, in saved posts section user will have an option to unsave any saved posts.

In Bookitt user can hide any post by clicking on ‘Hide’ option, posts which are hidden by user will be displayed in Hidden posts section.

In Bookitt, user can report any posts as abuse/spam if user finds in any inappropriate content in the post and same will be notified to admin.

User can set different preferences such as user can change password, delete account, manage friends list and send message and also create advertisement from preferences section.

User will be able to delete his/her account by clicking on delete option from preferences. User needs to enter username, password and select the checkbox.

In Bookitt, user can add his/her friend by entering username, user can also remove friend from his/her added list and user can send message to his/her friend.

User will be able to share any post by email when user clicks on share option and further enters details such as Email Id, user name, user’s email id, message description and CAPTCHA code.

User will be able to sign up/login in the website by filling the required details using email and with facebook also.

From post detail page in Bookitt, user can like/dislike any post, can make comment on post, will be able to share post on Facebook and Twitter.

Email confirmation is used to verify user Email, user will get verification mail for the same and by clicking on it user’s Email will be verified.

In Bookitt, Password recovery feature is mainly used to retrieve the password which is already forgotten. User needs to enter Email Id when user clicks on Forgot password option.

User will be able to mark any post as flagged if user finds in any inappropriate content in the post and same will be notified to admin. Admin will be able to view details of flagged content from manage Flags section.

User will be able to report any post as abuse/spam if user finds in any inappropriate content in the post and same will be notified to admin.

FAQ will be a static page which will be designed and developed and it will be managed by admin from admin panel.

User can like any post which they find as interesting or noteworthy. User will be able to like any post by clicking on ‘Vote up’ button.

Membership plan is one type of revenue model of Bookitt. User can subscribe to a membership plan and can make his/her one post as sponsored.

In Bookitt, posts are classified based on different categories such as Hot, New, Rising, Controversial, Top, etc. User can sponsor one post if user has subscribed to a membership plan.

User will be able to browse different posts with various criteria’s such as search by keyword, different categories, posts will be filtered out based on category selected by user.

This unique feature is provided for the ease of user access. Here, a tool tip is integrated that provides sufficient information on hovering over the question mark.

In Bookitt, system alert messages will be there and it will be based on any event triggered by user.

In Bookitt, we have provided a very unique design and content for the ease of user access and to have an easy yet enhanced graphical user interface (GUI).

User will be able to pay using payment gateway for the payments of membership plan as well as Banner advertisement payments.

User will have advance search (i.e. filter) options to narrow down the search results of posts by selecting time period (Day/week/month/year), which can further be filtered also.

User will have sorting option to sort the results of posts based on category, post title, Text post, and link posts. User can search posts by entering search keywords and can also filter the results of posts.

In Promotional panel different favicon are displayed such as Facebook, Twitter, Google plus and Pinterest. By clicking on any favicon user will be redirected to social media page.

From post detail page (For Text posts) in Bookitt, user will be able to share post on Facebook and Twitter. User can also share post URL to his/her friend by Email.

This is a unique facility provided to users to share their experience by liking or disliking Bookitt. There in one pop-in box which is displayed in the home page of Bookitt in which user can share their experience.

In Bookitt, when any new user is signing up in the website for the first time by filling up the form, he/she will get the verification mail on his/her email and by clicking on it Email is verified
